We hope you had a lovely weekend, and are sure you are already looking ahead to this long weekend ahead! Hopefully, at least, because we sure are! If you're traveling, that will be fabulous and we are already jealous of the tans you will return with. Anyone staying closer to home, we hit some fun New York spots for day trip ideas for this long weekend. First up, The Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Located at 110 East 76th Street this year, it is a must see!
Margaret met up with me in the City this past Friday and we started our afternoon here! It was honestly fantastic. The home itself was beautiful and expansive, providing the best possible canvas for the talented designers to display their work! Room after room was as stunning as the first, the architecture led you around each floor in a perfect circle allowing you to see everything before moving on and upwards on the eccentric staircase!
It really is a dream home. The designers did a wonderful job in coordinating their spaces to compliment each others while still being absolutely representative of their style. We've included a few of our favorite images and spaces but to get the full picture you really must visit yourself! They have normal hours throughout Memorial Day Weekend, so if you find yourself looking for something to do this is the perfect way to spice up an afternoon before taking a stroll through Central Park perhaps?
