Winter has been packed with events with no signs of slowing down. Our favorite event of the year is the Young Collectors Night at The Winter Show. Read more below to see how much we raised for East Side House! We're also busy preparing for the March Round Top show and the arrival of two new containers packed with garden antiques. Please read more about upcoming events and a recap of what we've been up to below.
Winter has been long and particularly gray this year. We thought about how we could bring some springtime cheer into the house while we wait for warmer weather and brighter colors to come.
We fell in love with this handpainted Italian chest of drawers. While it isn't an antique, it was far too fabulous for us to pass up. The cheerful pink blooms on branches set against the aqua sky and verdant rolling hills bring some cheerful hues to the home for a year-round touch of springtime. We see it placed in an entryway as an inviting welcome to your home. We added an amethyst Murano dish for a place to drop keys and a vase for fresh flowers, allowing a fragrance that matches the flowers depicted on the chest of drawers. We finished it with a ceramic Hare on top and a garden ornament of a woman holding a sheaf of wheat.

NEWS FROM THE FIELD
New Containers
We have a BOATLOAD of inventory coming in! Get it? We have a 40' container on its way from England. It is chockfull of vintage and antique gardenalia. We have seating, tables, dining tables & chairs, birdbaths, urns, garden ornaments galore, and more. In that container is one absolutely spectacular piece I have purchased in secret and is possibly the best thing I've ever imported. You'll have to stay tuned for a grand reveal of this monumental (in both scale and style) set. It is wildly fabulous and completely swoon-worthy.
We also have a 20' container packed to the brim with gardenalia heading straight to Round Top, TX. We love having dedicated inventory you can only see and buy at the Texas shows. It makes it more of a hunt for you all because you never know what will pop up in there.
Cycle for Survival
I am happy to announce that I'll participate in Memorial Sloan Kettering's Cycle for Survival event in March. A dear friend of mine beat cancer twice when we were in our early twenties. She is an inspiration as a cancer thriver, and I have joined her team to help fundraise to find a cure for cancer. I would be honored if you would consider donating.
Round Top
The Spring Round Top antiques show is coming up fast. Dates are March 16-30. As always, you can expect a beautiful, lush indoor garden that we create every spring in our little space in the Peck Barn at The Compound. The tides of change are coming to the Round Top shows, and I hope you'll visit us in our little corner of the forward-thinking venue we're part of.
Paris recap
Paris Deco Off 2024 was a thrill. It is always fun reconnecting with designers and industry members. We cohosted an incredible night of, well, debauchery at Prescription Cocktail Club one evening. I love getting that creative spark that comes with meeting new people and discussing the industry's future. We have some fun ideas in the works, so stay tuned!
The Winter Show 2024
I continue to be honored to serve as a co-chair for The Young Collectors event at The Winter Show. It is a spectacular event bringing in some of the world's most important dealers for a show at the Park Avenue Armory. It is a do not miss event. People fly in from all over the country and across the globe to bear witness to the antiques, historic art, and innovative contemporary artists. In 2024, the Young Collectors Night event raised over $200,00 for the East Side House. It is a remarkable organization, and I look forward to being more involved with it this year.
