A set of nine vintage Scottish Carpet Ball pins. This set is turned hardwood and individually painted, featuring carved vine designs. Wear consistent with age and use. A storied game dating back centuries, Carpet Ball, is similar to Bocci ball. An indoor game, a set of pins is set up in a hallway, and each player is given a set of balls to knock the pins down. The carpet balls themselves are decorated in different colors and designs to differentiate each player.
