I know so many of you have been asking when the Dilly Dally Vanity will be released and the moment has FINALLY come. Here is the bombshell - we have TWO! These were purchased in Italy and have taken ages to receive, restore, photograph, and get ready for release. We only have the two and have no idea when we are getting more in, so don't miss your chance.

Here is how it will work: At 8pm eastern standard time on September 13th the first Dilly Dally will be posted on Instagram and an email reminder will be sent out. We will post product photography and a styled photo in the email and on Instagram. You have until 8pm eastern on September 14th to submit a sealed-bid. If at 8pm there is a tie, all parties will be notified and asked for a best and final offer which will be due by 8am eastern standard time the following day. The winner will be notified within 24 hours and payment is due by noon eastern standard on September 19th. We will be accepting payment via wire transfer or credit card. A 3% service fee will be added if a credit card is used for payment. If payment is not received by the deadline, I will move on to the backup bid and they will have 8 hours to respond.

Your bid: Your bid will be submitted through a Google form available on modernantiquarian.com and the winner will be announced via our newsletter. You must provide your email and agree to sign up for our newsletter. Your bid must include your best offer, full name, email, phone, billing address, shipping address, specified payment method, and an acknowledgment that the item is sold “as is” and that all sales are final and no returns, exchanges, refunds, or credits will be issued. Both listings will have a minimum bid of $8800 USD and the payment must be made in USD, which your bank will be able to assist with.

Shipping: Shipping charges are separate. We can help to arrange shipping to the Continental US. We cannot help arrange shipping outside of the Continental US.

The fine print: All sales are final and no returns, exchanges, refunds, or credits will be issued. The items are sold “as is”. We do our best to photograph and describe the condition of the piece, but there are vintage items and they are sold in "as-is" condition. Tax will be charged. If you have a resale license you must submit your resale license information with your bid or you will be charged applicable tax. All sales will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without reference to its conflicts of laws principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts located in New York, New York.

Eligibility: This promotion is open to aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of The Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion.

Promotional Period: The promotion is open to entries from the 13th of September 2022, 8:00 pm eastern time until the 14th of September 2022, 8:00 pm eastern time. The second promotion is open to entries from the 28th of September 2022, 8:00 pm eastern time until the 29th september 8:00 pm eastern time.

Entry Instructions: To enter the promotion, the data capture form must be completed and all boxes ticked to confirm agreement. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted to entries that are incomplete, corrupted, delayed, or not received for any reason.

Winner Selection: The highest bid will win the auction. The minimum bid of $8800 must be met for the bid to be accepted and the payment must be made in USD. The winner will be selected within 24 hours from the end of the Promotion.

Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by email newsletter and will have 5 days from notification to provide payment. If a winner does not pay within this time frame, The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the goods entitlement and will award the goods to a reserve bid at the same time as the original. It is the responsibility of the winner to provide correct, up-to-date details on acceptance of the bid and any required tax forms. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects bid acceptance or delivery of their goods.

General: Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify winners and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw bid entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of The Promoter and which prevents The Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants. The Promotion and these terms and conditions, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to New York law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts located in New York, New York.

Data Protection: Any personal information that entrants share with The Promoter will be kept secure and only used in line with The Promoters privacy policy. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information including email address will be used by The Promoter to administer the promotion and future email marketing communications. Winners also consent to give their name for the winners’ announcement.
